June - 4 Sheffield festivals in a month

Time to read: Under a minute

June's been a busy time for festivals around Sheffield with something for everyone.

Pulp: A Film About Life, Death and Supermarkets

First we had Doc/Fest, 6 days of documentaries being shown all over Sheffield, including the European Premiere of Pulp: A Film About Life, Death and Supermarkets. If ever you forget about Doc/Fest, you're always reminded as soon as you see people wondering the city with pink and yellow lanyards, looking a little lost but ultimately happy.

Then we had Peace in the Park - a free one day festival held on the Pondarosa - music, crafts, real ale, political activists and a tiny bit of rain.

Then it was off out of Sheffield to Bakewell for L'Eroica - a "3 day boutique festival dedicated to family fun, glorious vintage, food, drink and cycling".

Fantastical Cities Children’s Workshop

And lastly it's Sheffield Design Week, "a citywide celebration of design in all its forms […] a collaborative platform aiming to increase awareness and appreciation of design and develop new audiences", taking place from the 23-29 June.

And of course it doesn't stop there - plenty more going on in Sheffield in July - Tour de France and Tramlines anyone?!
